Collector Grade Walnut Cinematic Product Video

Big Horn Armory introduced a limited run of Collector Grade Walnut stocks selected for their exceptional figure, grain, and visual character. The goal of this project was to present the rifles as premium collector-grade products through a short, cinematic video that allowed the wood and craftsmanship to remain the focus.

During pre-production, I storyboarded a simple sequence built around slow, controlled views of both sides of the rifle. Rather than using dialogue or a detailed product demonstration, the concept relied on careful composition, movement, lighting, and close visual attention to the stock’s natural detail.

I filmed the video and accompanying high-resolution still photographs using a Sony A7R II mirrorless camera. No production audio was required. I selected and licensed stock music for commercial use across YouTube, the company website, and social media, then used minimal graphics to support the product without distracting from it.

Post-production included shot selection, editing, color correction, audio leveling, graphic placement, and final exports formatted for multiple digital platforms.

The finished video became a highly effective sales asset for the product launch and was directly credited with helping sell all 60 Collector Grade stock sets within 30 days.

My role: Concept development, storyboarding, cinematography, product photography, shot selection, editing, music selection and licensing, minimal motion graphics, color correction, audio leveling, and multi-platform delivery.
